Hello, my name is Adam Tucker.
I began my career specializing in routing and network architecture, as well as firewall and VPN security. I also have a wide range of experience in system administration, primarily within Microsoft operating systems and software packages.
After shifting to startup life, I am now fluent in various flavors of Linux, and design fault-tolerant systems at low cost using services like AWS.
I am currently pushing forward the definition of how massively scalable architectures get deployed from developer to production. I use AWS Data Pipeline to build systems that are highly adaptable to changes in business logic. I also use Docker to build systems that are inherently aware of how cloud instances are meant to be used, with very little reliance on machine state.
