COLOURIST | HAIRSTYLIST

My name is Olivia Huynh. I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved to Guelph, Ontario at the age of eight. Throughout high school I wasn't completly sure what I wanted to do but hair intrigued me. My sisters and friends always told me I had raw talent and would often come to me to get their hair done. Which made me strongly consider it as a career path. In 2011, I moved to Toronto to attend the Aveda Institute Toronto. This is where I learned the foundation of cutting and colouring. I started working at high-end salons right after hair school. The first salon I worked at was Civello, an Aveda concept salon, where I assisted hairstylists. The next salon I worked at was located on Danforth where I learned many techniques of cutting and colouring hair. I have always had an interest in hairstyling and colouring is my passion. One of the privileges I have about being a hairstylist is meeting new faces everyday. Everyone is unique and have their own story to share. My other passions include fashion and food. I like to express myself with the outfits that I wear. For food I love to try new and different things.
