Went up to Michigan for my baby shower and ended up getting the flu. Worst possible night and Sunday ever. We are still in Michigan. It hit my brother, mom, Jeremy, and me. We hope to go home tomorrow. I have been trying to get lots of water, Gatorade, and soup in me. It's tough though. My Dad was the only one who doesn't have it and he has been playing nurse to us all. So thank full fit dad.
This is so cute! This reminds me of my childhood. Dad, Dwayne Speaks, you have to watch this!!!

Sleepy but can't sleep. My legs are restless and my mind is constantly thinking of what needs to be done. Sometimes I want to just hold my baby and forget the million things that needs to be done. My time is soon.

Six months ago we had a wonderful dog, we named Bentley, come in our lives. He has made us so happy. One of the hardest days was finding out this adorable dog had heart worms and then a month or so ago we almost lost him to a scary health incident that might of been contributed to a built up of toxins from the heart work treatment. Today we found out that his heart worm test came back negative and his blood work is completely normal. He is a healthy, happy doggy again!!!!! God is so good!!!!!
Happy birthday to my sweet amazing husband, Jeremy. I am so blessed to have him and our baby will be blessed to have a Daddy like him. 😀

So I am officially putting this on Facebook even though most everyone I know has heard the news. I am pregnant!!!! Jeremy and I are expected our first little bundle of joy June 12th. We have decided to wait to find out what we are having. It's going to be a surprise!!! I am feeling great and baby is doing wonderful. 😀

Bentley is back home with us this evening. So good to have him back. He is doing much better. More alert. Eating a little and drinking a little too. His liver enzyme is still high and protein level is low too. Need to monitor him and bringing him back next week for another check up.

Thank you everyone for the messages, love, and support. It means a lot to Jeremy and I. We are hanging in there. These past few months we have gave Bentley the nickname Champ. Because that's exactly what he is. He is a fighter. I thank God that He is in control and He is taking care of him and us right now. Love to you all.

Another update. Got a call at 1 or 2 am. It may have something to do with Bentley's liver. It sounded like it was trying to shut down. They had to do plasma blood transfusions to I guess keep him stable. Will know more in a hour or so. Keep praying for us and for a miracle. The vet didn't make it sound good. I feel stuck in a nightmare. He was a perfect normal doggy and in a split second he changed to this. I feel helpless.

So tonight we had a scary thing happen. Our dog Bentley became seriously ill out of the blue. He was acting normal and then started stumbling, throwing up and had a little diarrhea. We rushed him to a animal hospital and they did lots of test. Not sure what the cause us. He stayed overnight and he is being treated for his symptoms. Please pray that he is better on the morning. This is real serious.
Happy Birthday to my wonderful mother! I love her to pieces and wish we lived closer to each other.

Bentley is home now and resting. His two injections went well. He is sore and a little swollen. He came in the house, took a big drink of water and headed to our bedroom to lay on the bed. This dog knows the most comfortable place in the house. 😀
I miss my home in Michigan. Empire is one of my favorite places and has so many childhood memories. Beautiful!

Bentley went in to get his second injection for heartworm treatment. He has to stay overnight. I talked with the vet and a tech today and he is doing really well. I am so happy. He is such a sweet boy.😊

Bentley is home and getting lots of rest. Everything went well today. He is just a little sore and can't get comfortable. Two more injections to go. This breaks my heart to see him so uncomfortable but I know this will be short lived. He is such a good boy. One of the girls at the office said he took it like a champ. That's how he is with everything. He is such a blessing.
Just dropped my dog off to the vet. Having his first treatment for heartworms. Keep him in your prayers. Hopefully in a couple of months he will be heartworm free.

Four years ago today I married my very best friend. I love you, Jeremy, more today than on our wedding day. It's been a great 4 years. Can't wait for date night after work! 😀

Jeremy and I are fighting colds this week. Making chicken noodle soup was the best idea. I wish now I could go home and take a nap. Oh well.
