The Orlando tragedy is an assault on all of us. I choose not to define those victims as LGBT but as Americans. They are our sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, moms and dads. It sickens me that our presidential candidates are doing their best to make political points from this horrendous event. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the victims, their families and friends. May those who died rest in peace, may those injured have a speedy and complete recovery and may those that witnessed this massacre find mental healing.

Hug your mom, tell her you love her, let her know how valuable she is to you...or just hug her until she stops hugging first. My mom passed away this morning. She was the best mom! She raised six wild boys into good men. Love you always and forever mom. RIP

Lack of diversity for the Oscars...I've claimed that the Oscars and all of those awards shows are a bunch of BS!!! I stand by the boycott. A bunch of insecure "actors = pretenders" needing constant approval from their peers.

Thoughts on growing up:
Both teams can't win
We kept score
We hated losing...but we learned to lose with grace
We loved winning...we learned to be gracious winners as well
Everybody got pizza and soda at the end of the season...we all deserved that as a team
Only three trophies were presented
They went to the players that deserved them
I got one trophy in my life...I highly valued the cheap plastic thing, "most improved"
We were told "no" much more often than "yes"
We loved getting a "yes"
Taken off my deck a couple weeks ago...I'm not sure this is a good omen.
