Hello, my name is Bruce Bugbee.
I am a PhD statistician with a passion for attacking problems at the intersection of statistics, machine learning, and science. Currently I am employed as a research scientist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, CO. Here I focus on application driven research across multiple renewable energy domains. Some of my particular areas of interest are unsupervised machine learning, Bayesian models, computational statistics, uncertainty quantification, statistical visualization, and deep learning.
